History

The Foundation was formed by a steering committee of educators, parents, and community/business members who recognized the need for a charitable foundation that could draw in new resources and support for our school district.

Officially incorporated in late 2006 as a 501(c)(3) tax exempt charitable organization, the MTEF Board of Directors began work in 2007 and made their first donation to the school district—$7,000 for technology equipment—in January of 2008.
