Lowe’s home improvement store in the Manchester Plaza has been a very good neighbor to Manchester Township Elementary School. As part of the Lowe's Heroes program they recently took on a project to restore the school’s garden, which had fallen into disrepair. They not only sent volunteers to do the work, they also supplied materials including mulch, pavers, and a beautiful new trellis arbor.
“Lowe’s truly went above and beyond our expectations with all the work they did and the materials they supplied.” commented MTES Principal Dr. Fran Scudese. “They brought our school garden back to life.”
The students were excited about the work also. They wrote dozens of thank you notes and cards that you can see displayed near the checkout counters at Lowe’s.
