Manchester Township High School Musical Productions took on a difficult challenge with this year’s musical production, “Crazy For You”. This musical comedy is considered the ‘quintessential musical’ and features 20 great Gershwin songs, including “Embraceable You” and “I’ve Got Rhythm.” The energetic student cast did a fabulous job singing and dancing their way through this entertaining love story, directed by Sarah Thiffault and assistant directed by Kelli Isaksen.

In primary roles were Bob P. as Bobby Child, Amanda B. as Polly Baker, Demitri F. as Bela Zangler, Danielle S. as Tess, Samantha V. as Irene Roth, and Enrique S. as Lank Hawkins. 

Several elaborate tap dancing numbers, choreographed by Erica Martucci, were especially impressive for an amateur cast.  Also remarkable were creative sets by Jim Cartier and his student crew, and a live orchestra featuring some of the area’s most talented musicians.
