On May 27, students at the Middle School participated in the Caps for Cancer Campaign, which was sponsored by the Impact Club. Members of the club sold $1.00 tickets, which enabled students to wear a favorite hat or cap throughout the day. The club will donate the $110 to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Foundation.
In other Impact Club news, students continue to raise money for Dottie’s House, and just concluded their Save the Rainforest Campaign, in which members of the club sold bracelets and earned $115 by selling bracelets. Earlier this busy year, students collected food for the Food Bank, pet supplies for the Jersey Shore Animal Shelter, and made baskets for Ocean of Love. For a final project, the club members will make a Hope Basket for a student who has been absent due to a serious illness.
