Before Thanksgiving, the students at MTMS wrote and beautifullly decorated  341 holiday greeting cards for the troops in Iraq.  This year,  an 8th grade student's brother, Vinny Borrero, will distribute the cards to his battalion at Camp Taji in Iraq. This is the 4th year that the Language Arts and Special Ed Language Arts teachers have participated in this activity with their classes.

"It's a very meaningful project for the students, their teachers, and for the soldiers as well," said teacher Claire Rutz.
