The Student Council at the middle school held spirit week in December. Students could show their Mustang pride by dressing according to the theme each day. The themes included hat day, mismatch day, twin day, school colors day, and twister day (students dressed like teachers and teachers dressed like students). The boy and girl from each grade level and the teacher who had the best outfit for each day won a prize.
Students transformed their classroom doors into board games with a Manchester Mustang theme. Here are our winning classes:
1st Place -
Mrs. Simister’s class with “LIFE as a Mustang”
2nd Place -

Throughout the week students could also donate spare change during their lunch periods to participate in the "Penny Wars." Each grade level tried to raise more money than the others. Overall, our Penny War raised $300 for Kevin’s Kids Holiday Drive! The winner of the Penny War, with 16,206 Spirit Points was the 7th grade!
Not only did this weeks' activities boost school spirit, it also helped less fortunate families in Manchester.
Thank you to everyone for a successful and spirited week!
