If you had tuned in to "Good Morning America" on May 28, you may have spotted Diane Sawyer interviewing Manchester's own Dalton B., a 7th grader at the Middle School.  Ms. Sawyer then picked an audience member to race against Dalton live on TV and Dalton won!

Dalton was on the program representing his swim team, which is sponsored by Ocean County College.  His team has gone to a total of 102 competitions and he has won 23 gold, 29 silver, and 20 bronze medals.  The team is heading to the world competition in London from June 29-August 1. 

Dalton competes in the butterfly and freestyle strokes.  He says, "I have been swimming my whole life and want to continue to swim."

We wish him lots of luck in his upcoming competition and are sure he will do swimmingly!
