The Student Assistance Program is a comprehensive and integrated, joint school/community program for providing students with prevention, intervention, support and instructional services for attending to alcohol and other drug related issues.

The program addresses other issues such as abusive relationships, depression, suicide prevention, despair, personal growth and development, grief/loss, eating disorders, AIDS, pregnancy, divorce, changing family relationships, gay & lesbian issues.
The Student Assistance Office offers monthly after-school workshops, as well as sponsoring awareness weeks. These are designed to raise the level of awareness of students and staff concerning the issues of AIDS, alcohol & drug abuse, drinking & driving, relationships, coping with loss, etc.
FREE materials to students, staff and parents concerning relevant issues of the day, as well as outside referrals for many self-help support groups are available.
