Curriculum for Y-Kids focuses on arts and humanities, literacy, science and technology, anti-bullying, social competence, conflict resolution, character development, homework help, health, wellness and fitness through CATCH (Coordinated Approach to Child Health). CATCH is an evidence based program designed to promote physical activity, healthy food choices and prevent tobacco use in school aged children.
Y-Zone emphasizes Health & Fitness, Character Development, Social Responsibility, Conflict Resolution and assists in providing the students with tools needed to grow into successful young adults. Homework assistance, intramural sports, games and swimming are also offered.
