The Manchester School District welcomed new Administrators to our school family this school year. Please help welcome Jill Moore who is the new Principal of Manchester Township Elementary School.  A little bit about Ms. Moore:

It is my honor to have been selected as the Principal of Manchester Township Elementary School.  When I walked through the doors of this beautiful (and newly constructed, at the time) building 30 years ago, I could not have imagined that one day I would have the opportunity to lead such an amazing team of educators and students in a community that I have grown to both love and respect.

Manchester Township has been my home since the beginning of my career in education.  Over my tenure, I have had the opportunity to be a teacher and an administrator in all three elementary schools and have developed a deep insight into the heart of this community. This town and school community are my life and passion. The people here are very important to me. Manchester is ingrained into the fibers of who I am and is a main component of my life. I am honored to be able to serve the community as the Principal of Manchester Township Elementary School. 

I was born and raised in Ocean County, where I have lived all of my life.  I am married with two children.  Our daughter followed in my footsteps and is a teacher.  Our son lives in Boston and is a software engineer.  I love the beach and am a fitness enthusiast who enjoys spending my time when I am outside of school at Orangetheory or on my Peloton.  

In Manchester Township we put our students first.  Together we have built a school environment where students feel safe and cared for. I look forward to continuing that tradition through leadership and strive for every student to be heard and understood while being led to continued success as we help them conquer any obstacles in their way.
