Thank you Mrs. Ensor
I wish to take a moment to thank our school nurse, Deirdre Ensor, for all that she is doing for our school community. She starts each morning with an average of 25 calls from parents and staff, some telling her their child has tested positive, some that they have tested positive, and others saying they have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive. After she gets through all her calls the work begins. Who are the close contacts, who needs to go home, what staff are affected? While she is trying to get through all of this, students are coming into her office for bandages, medication, stomach aches, accident issues, or just for a listening ear. She makes difficult phone calls, disrupting the lives of many people as she explains the CDC and Board of Health procedures to staff and parents. It hasn't been easy, but each day she works through all of this as a true professional. As principal, it is very comforting to have a dedicated school nurse like her. We are fortunate at MTES to have Deirdre Ensor on staff. It can't be said enough, Thank you Mrs. Ensor for working so hard to keep all of us safe. You are appreciated and you have made a difference in so many lives.
Thank you to all of our school nurses in Manchester for the work you are doing. You are all amazing!
