Ms. Anderson is a Certified School Psychologist and Licensed Professional Counselor. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a Master of Science degree in Education from Queens College, CUNY. She began her career at United Cerebral Palsy of Staten Island where she worked for two years with multiplied disabled individuals from birth through adulthood. She then worked at the Our Place School Preschool Disabilities/Early Intervention program for children with communication delays for five years. She was the supervising therapist there and ran a weekly parent support group. From there, Ms. Anderson became employed at Monmouth Medical Center in the Specialized Pediatric Ambulatory Center where she was a member of the Child Evaluation Center, the Cleft Palate Team, and also worked closely with the Pediatric Gastroenterologist and Pediatric Neurologist. She worked at MMC for seven years and while there, presented many workshops for local school faculty. Ms. Anderson worked in the Ocean Township School District at the High School and Elementary levels for two years. She subsequently worked in the Seaside Heights and Sayreville School Districts for two years before coming to Manchester Township. Ms. Anderson has worked in the Manchester Township School district for the past 22 years. She has worked at the Middle School and all three Elementary schools. In 2016, Ms. Anderson was named Educational Service Professional of the Year. Throughout her long and varied career, Ms. Anderson has always strived to provide children and their families with thoughtful, caring and professional assistance in any way that she can.
