Intro to Foods Video Description
Grades 9-12

This course will help the student learn the basic principles of food preparation and nutrition. The student will learn the correct use of all laboratory equipment and good use of time, money and energy.
Students will learn to select and prepare foods that are both tasty and nutritious. The students will study one of the food groups each marking period and lean a number of ways to prepare and attractively serve a variety of foods. Careers in foods will also be discussed throughout the year.
