Today, MTMS and MTHS students were invited to visit Joint Base McGuire Dix Lakehurst to experience the 2023 Power in the Pines Airshow. This day was exclusive to the military and their families as well as invited local school districts. The trip provided a hands-on and crowd-free look into military aircraft and vehicles. Students were given a tour of the planes and even participated in pull-up and tug-of-war contests with the military personnel!  

We appreciate the relationship that the Manchester Township School District has with our partners at JB-MDL and are grateful for today's experience for our students and staff. 

The 2023 Power in the Pines Air & Space Open House will be hosted at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst from Saturday to Sunday, May 20 and 21, 2023.  The USAF F-16 Viper Demonstration will headline the event along with other performers. This event is free and open to the public.
