Welcome to the Speech Department Webpage!  At Regional Day School we work with school children who have communication problems that affect success in classroom activities, social interaction, literacy, and learning.  Good communication skills lead to successful speaking, thinking, reading, writing, and learning.  Areas that we address:

Biography:

Lauren Kelly is a Speech Language Pathologist at Regional Day School in Jackson. Her prior therapy experience includes public school, sub-acute, and early intervention. She received her Master's in Speech Language Pathology from Kean University, and her undergraduate degree from Stockton University. Lauren's therapy philosophy is to equip each student with functional communication, and life skills. To accomplish this, she utilizes a multi-sensory approach to therapy, and encourages students to utilize total communication to express themselves (i.e. verbal, sign, AAC, gestural, or a combination of modalities!).

Biography:

Haley Lindquist joined RDS in the Fall of 2020. Prior to RDS, Haley worked in Trenton Public Schools for two years. Haley also has experience in outpatient speech therapy. Haley received her education at Monmouth University for both undergrad and graduate school.

Biography:

My name is Camilla, and I am Regina’s maternity coverage therapist for the year. Prior to Regional Day School, I worked at an outpatient facility with adults who had acquired neurological disorders—cancers, traumatic brain injuries, strokes etc. I have experience working with voice, motor speech, language and cognitive disorders. I have also had various roles in schools and an internship at an outpatient clinic working with children with Autism, behavioral disorders, voice disorders, learning impairments and motor-based articulation disorders. The joy of working with your children has truly awoken my passion in my field. I am blessed to be here!
