Creating Website or Google File Links

  1. To create a link, first highlight the text you want to link.
  2. Use the LINK tool, which looks like a chain link, and select ADD LINK.
  3. Type or paste the web address in the URL box. Click SAVE.

This method may be used for website links or links to your Google files and folders. Be sure to set your Google file sharing settings to ‘anyone with the link can view.’ See Google File Sharing instructions.

Creating an Email Link

To create an EMAIL link, type mailto: in the URL box and type or paste the email address directly after it – no spaces.
