Helping Hands for Hunger is a project of the Peer Leadership Program at Manchester Township High School. Each year, they organize a drive to collect donations in order to provide Thanksgiving food baskets to local families in need.
We ask individuals, businesses and community groups for any contribution that you can make to help us carry out our pledge to make sure that Santa Claus visits every home in Manchester. Each donation goes directly to buy food, new toys and clothing for every child identified on our list.
Callie Rommel, Gabriella Edwards and Cheyenne Gann of Girl Scout Troop 300 were recognized at the October 16, 2019 Board of Education meeting for completing their Silver Award project, which benefited Ridgeway Elementary School.

As both students and teachers experience ever-increasing stress in our fast-paced world, schools are turning to a new focus on social and emotional learning (SEL) and mindfulness. These programs help students focus on learning, manage their emotions, and become responsible citizens. Manchester Township Public Schools are implementing a number of SEL initiatives at all levels.

Manchester Township School District will have a half-day integrated preschool program that will be opened to a limited number of non-disabled children age 4 on or before October 1, 2019. This program is designed to provide opportunities for children with disabilities to be included with non-disabled peers.
Come celebrate the arts in Manchester Schools at the Manchester Youth Arts Festival on Thursday, May 16 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Manchester Township High School. All of the district's schools will be represented at this fabulous community event that features student art displays and performances.
The School Performance Reports reflect the New Jersey Department of Education's (NJDOE) extensive efforts to engage with parents, students and school communities, and share the information that is most valuable in providing a picture of overall school performance.
