Candidates must be registered voters who have lived in the district for at least a year, must be able to read and write, and cannot hold a contract with or claim against the school district. Apply by June 1.

The Wildcat Wilderness Workspace Outdoor Classroom, funded by PSE&G through Sustainable NJ for Schools (SNJS), was officially opened at the start of the Whiting Wellness Fair on June 6, 2019.
