For the past fourteen years the Regional Day School has been my second home and I always refer to our staff, students and their families as our RDS Family. It takes a lot of work each day, throughout the year, from many people from the building level to across the district, and efforts behind the scenes to make a special little school like ours so successful. The preparations by our custodians and teachers, collaboration of our staff, and commitment of our family have truly assisted in making this year's opening day an incredibly great and successful day for our students. It was a very smooth opening as we welcomed our students back to school on Thursday. The smiles, fist pumps, claps, and hugs were signs of appreciation from our students!

As we begin the 2024-2025 school year, just a reminder to all families to update emergency contacts through your Parent Portal on Genesis. It is very important we have a working phone number to reach you should your child fall ill. If your child is absent from school, remember to notify your child’s teacher and send in a note.

Mark your calendar for Saturday, September 28th for the New Jersey Beach Buggy Association’s annual fishing day on Island Beach State Park. It is always a beautiful day! Information was sent home with the students. Save the date for Thursday, October 10th for our Back to School Night.
