At the event, the nine players were randomly split into three teams of three, given time to strategize, and then competed in several best-of-five series. Christian’s team won both sets of games. During gameplay, recruiters from 27 college Esports programs, including Stockton University, Rowan University, Syracuse University, Rutgers University, and West Point, observed players closely, taking notes on performance. Afterward, attendees had the opportunity to meet with recruiters and admissions representatives. Christian's rank and gameplay impressed observers, even out-ranking some current team captains at these colleges.
