Yesterday, students at Manchester Township High School (MTHS) had the exciting opportunity to explore a variety of vocational programs, thanks to a visit from the Ocean County Vocational Technical School (OCVTS). Representatives from OCVTS, along with their students, showcased the diverse programs available to Manchester's high schoolers considering career-focused paths.
Presentations highlighted hands-on experiences in areas such as culinary arts, cosmetology, drill safety, and audio engineering. Culinary students delighted attendees with fresh pasta dishes, while cosmetology students demonstrated creative hair tinsel installation techniques. Other demonstrations allowed MTHS students to engage directly with practical skills and learn about potential career pathways.
MTHS students enjoyed exploring these offerings, gaining insight into the opportunities that OCVTS provides for developing both technical skills and career readiness. Many thanks to OCVTS for visiting and to the MTHS guidance department for organizing this valuable experience.
