Owen, a Manchester Township High School student and dedicated Eagle Scout, is on a remarkable journey to earn all 142 Scout merit badges, a feat achieved by less than one percent of Scouts. He has already completed 118 badges and is now focusing on the Reading Merit Badge in a way that will have a meaningful impact on the community.
Motivated by his desire to help others, Owen chose to organize a book drive for students in need, demonstrating his commitment to making the greatest positive difference.
Community support is essential for Owen’s project to succeed. By donating new or gently used books, residents can contribute to a meaningful cause that encourages literacy and empowers young readers. Every book donated will help Owen reach his goal while providing children in the community with the gift of reading.
Contributions, whether large or small, will make a lasting difference for both Owen and the students who benefit from this initiative. Please drop your books at Manchester Township High School (101 Hawks Way) through the end of March or to the address provided in the flyer below.
