Candy Bar Bingo took center stage today as part of Manchester Township High School’s growing Senior to Senior initiative, bringing together students and Manchester's seniors for an afternoon full of energy and connection.

Held at Leisure Village West, the event was a hit, with 75 attendees filling the room. There were plenty of laughs, great conversations between students and seniors, and lots of candy won during lively rounds of Bingo. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, highlighting the true spirit of the program.

Manchester Township High School’s Senior to Senior initiative is already making a meaningful impact in the community, as students continue to build relationships with senior citizens through engaging, intergenerational experiences. Designed to foster genuine connections, the program brings people together through shared activities that create lasting memories.
Earlier events helped set the stage for today’s success. The initiative began with a talent show at a local assisted living facility, where students performed a variety of acts, including singing, instrumental music, and a flag routine. The event concluded with a sing-along that invited residents to join in, creating a joyful and inclusive environment.
Students also hosted a free Senior to Senior Movie Night at the high school, featuring a screening of Grease. The evening was made possible through the support of local partners, including Applebee’s and Marquee Cinemas 10, further demonstrating the strong community backing behind the initiative.
With each event, the Senior to Senior program continues to strengthen bonds across generations and showcase the impact of simple, meaningful connections. Students are hopeful the initiative will keep growing, bringing even more opportunities for engagement in the months ahead.
