Give me an H! Give me an A! Give me a W, K, S!
Last Friday concluded Spirit Week at Manchester Township High School (MTHS), bringing with it waves of excitement wrapped in blue and gold. Whether it be for the seniors bidding us farewell in June or the freshmen just beginning their journey, the week of celebration brought a tone of excitement and promise heading into the new school year.
Each day, staff and students were asked to dress in accordance with a particular theme.
Starting the week off bold but basic, Monochrome Monday had everyone wearing one color apiece. In contrast, Not-Typical Tuesday was a showing of the strangest outfits that could be imagined.
Wild Animal Wednesday asked our Hawks to dress in an animal theme, while Jersey Thursday showed a wide range of support for all sorts of teams and athletes.
For Friday, there could be no more appropriate theme than the school colors. At the end of the day, our MTHS family created a sea of blue and gold at the first pep rally of the year, cheering on our Hawk student-athletes as they took the floor to cheers and jubilation. One thing was made abundantly clear - MTHS has spirit!
