Regional Day School is unique in that it has programming for students all year round. The school district would like to take the time to honor those Staff Members of the Month and Students of the Month who were celebrated at Regional Day School before the new school year began. RDS May Staff Member of the Month - Sue Tilton
Miss Sue is a kind, caring para who takes excellent care of both the student and staff in her room. She works hard and is always willing to help those around her. She is the heart of her classroom! RDS is very lucky to have Miss Sue.
RDS Staff Member of the Month June 2025 - Whistler
Whistler is a loyal, steadfast member of the RDS Staff. We appreciate his hard-working commitment to his duty. He brings joy to those around him.
RDS June Student of the Month - Emmalie Augello
Emmalie has recognized that her actions and behavior can impact her environment in positive ways. Emmalie is always willing to help and support her peers when they are having a difficult time. She has begun to internalize the reassuring words that she has heard over the years and share that support with others. Emmalie is willing to assist staff members and has begun to volunteer for school jobs, such as independently leading the school in the Pledge of Allegiance. Most recently, she has volunteered her free time to assist with cleanup and organization jobs in the Art room and other related services. Emmalie is gaining confidence and sharing her many good qualities with the school community. We are so proud of the young lady that Emmalie is growing into.
RDS Staff Member of the Month, July 2025 - Thomas Pullen
Thomas is a very hardworking paraprofessional. Thomas’s calm demeanor is a huge asset at RDS. He is relied on to help in a crisis and always assists wherever he is needed.
RDS Staff Member of the Month, August 2025- Michael Fobian
Michael is both a substitute paraprofessional and a teacher who goes wherever he is needed. He is asked to move in a moment’s notice at times and does so without complaint. We are very grateful for his kindness and caring for the RDS family.
RDS September Student of the Month - Ellona Graziano
Ellona Graziano is an extraordinary young lady. She has faced many challenges and has worked tirelessly to overcome them. Her fiery spirit, unwavering determination, and therapeutic giggles when she achieves a goal are an inspiration to witness. This summer, she rocked the runway in the From We Can’t 2 We Can Runway Show. Ellona is fully deserving of the award of student of the month, and it has truly been an honor to work with her.
RSD Staff Member of the Month September 2025 - Kerry Walsh
Miss Kerry has the biggest heart and always has a smile on her face. She wants what is best for everyone and goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is safe, happy, and has everything they need. We are all so grateful to have Miss Kerry at RDS.
