FEB BOE MEETING

Each month, the Board of Education recognizes students from every school at its meeting. This month, the Board of Education celebrated the following students and their achievements with the community:

Manchester Township Elementary School
Hannah Maghrabi
Meet Hannah Maghrabi. She is one of our outstanding Preschool Dragons. Hannah is helpful to friends and is always excited to do work. She also has a smile that can brighten anyone’s day. We are so lucky to have her!

FEB BOE MEETING

Ridgeway Elementary School
Marnie Savini

Marnie is an exemplary student who leads with integrity, kindness, and empathy. She often takes on the role of classroom “project manager,” showing strong leadership and teamwork. Every morning, Marnie warms our hearts by welcoming a younger classmate who feels hesitant about school, offering a hug and a smile that set a positive tone for the day.

FEB BOE MEETING

Whiting Elementary School
Joseph Sloan

In fourth-grade art, students are learning about analogous colors and what a silhouette is in their seasonal triptych project. About one week into the project, Joseph Sloan presented his teacher with the very same completed project he made at home with his own supplies. Joseph went above and beyond, showing great initiative and creativity. A future artist in the making!

FEB BOE MEETING

Regional Day School
Andrew Reed

Andrew has really come out of his shell this year. He is progressing with his speech and loves to verbally name the animal figures in the classroom. He is bright, inquisitive, and enjoys imaginative play. Andrew is a good listener and is always eager to try new things. We are excited to see him blossom even more.

FEB BOE MEETING

Manchester Township Middle School
Isabela Nieto

Isabela is a respectful, responsible, and highly motivated 7th grade student at MTMS. She has a strong work ethic, is always prepared for class, and approaches each task with a positive attitude and her best effort. Beyond this, she is thoughtful and supportive of her peers, offering them help and encouragement when they need it. Her conscientious nature and kind attitude make her an excellent role model who is truly deserving of this recognition.

Manchester Township Middle School
Athletes of the Month
Jake Castillo & Aisha Elgohary

We are extremely proud to have Jake Castillo and Aisha Elgohary represent MTMS as our Student Athletes for the month of February. Jake and Aisha are both great representations of what it means to be a student-athlete. They are 8th grade leaders on our basketball teams, work just as hard in the classroom as they do in the athletic arena, and serve as excellent examples to our younger student athletes.

FEB BOE MEETING

Manchester Township High School
Key Club

We are proud to recognize our Key Club students for leading a district-wide Code Blue donation drive to support individuals in need across Ocean County. Despite weather delays, they collected, sorted, and delivered more than 25 large bags of winter clothing and essential items to five Code Blue sites, serving not only Manchester but communities throughout the county. Their compassion, leadership, and commitment to service truly reflect the best of our school district.

She continues to set the tone in practice through her work ethic and leadership. Evan Beam continues to excel on the indoor track, winning the 2026 Ocean County High Jump title at 6’0 and a Group 2 NJSIAA Relay Title, while also capturing Ocean County Relay titles in the Long Jump and High Jump.
