In celebration of Mother’s Day, Mrs. Sheehan's preschool class at Ridgeway Elementary School hosted a very special “Spa Day” to honor the incredible women in our students’ lives. From the moment guests arrived, the classroom was transformed into a relaxing, welcoming spa experience, designed and operated entirely by our young learners.
Students eagerly stepped into the roles of spa employees, proudly serving their special guests throughout the event. With thoughtful attention to detail, students welcomed visitors, took their “spa orders,” and guided them through a variety of pampering stations. The spa services included portraits, lip care, skin care, hair care, and nail care, creating a memorable and interactive experience for everyone involved.
Using real-life materials and hands-on activities, students practiced important social, communication, and problem-solving skills while creating meaningful memories with their loved ones. The event not only encouraged creativity and imaginative play but also gave students an opportunity to express gratitude and appreciation for the important women who support and care for them every day.
The classroom was filled with laughter and special moments as students proudly cared for their guests and celebrated the people who mean so much to them. We are so grateful to all of the special women who joined us for this unforgettable event and helped make our Preschool Spa Day such a success!
