As the Manchester Township School District (MTSD) begins the 2026-27 school year, communication and collaboration with the Manchester Township Police Department (MTPD) remain central to the district’s commitment to student and staff safety.
Last week, MTPD Emergency Management Coordinator Officer Conner Yatauro met with the MTSD Director of Transportation Michelle Boyle and other key district personnel to provide training on the school district's new radio system. The upgraded system is the same system recently adopted by the MTPD, ensuring even more direct and reliable communication between the district internally and between the district and local law enforcement.

Officer Yatauro reviewed the enhanced functionality and security features of the mobile radios and provided MTSD staff with hands-on guidance to ensure they are prepared to use the new equipment effectively. The training represents the final step in implementing the upgraded system and further strengthens the ongoing partnership between MTSD and MTPD in support of the safety and security of Manchester Township students and staff.
