Happy Presidents’ Day! Today is a great opportunity for our students to learn more about the history of the presidency and the impact leaders like George Washington and Abraham Lincoln have had on our country. Through classroom discussions and activities, they will be exploring what it means to lead as the President of the United States.

MTHS senior Mia C. is inviting the community to come together in support of those who have served our country. Through her National Honor Society Senior Service Project, All Hands in For Veterans, Mia is collecting essential and comfort items for veterans receiving care at the VA hospital in Toms River. Inspired by her strong connection to the military and veteran community, Mia hopes this effort will be a meaningful way to give back. Donations are being accepted now through March 6, and all members of the community are welcome to participate and help make a difference for our local veterans. More at www.manchestertwp.org, today!

Today's blustery winter weather could not keep MTSD families from celebrating the 10th Annual District Valentine’s Day Dance! Students and families enjoyed dancing, crafts, laughter, and fun while coming together for this heartwarming community tradition. More manchestertwp.org.
RES families came together last night at Barnes and Noble for reading, connection, and school pride. With fun activities and wonderful staff support, the evening was filled with memory-making, community, and fundraising to support the school. More at manchestertwp.org.
MTSD students stepped in this winter to help others warm up through the district’s first-ever Code Blue Initiative. Their efforts helped establish the first Code Blue site in Southern Ocean County & supported four additional shelters across Ocean County! More manchestertwp.org.

February is Love the Bus Month! We thank our dedicated bus drivers, aides, and transportation staff for safely getting our students to and from school each day. Your hard work keeps everything running smoothly. We couldn’t do it without you!
This is an important weather-related message from MTSD. Due to ongoing icy conditions following the weekend's storm, all schools will operate on a 90-minute delayed opening tomorrow, Wednesday, January 28, to allow for safe travel for students and staff. Thank you.
