It was a crisp fall morning on Friday, almost complete with frost glistening on the pumpkins, but Whiting Elementary School's preschool students didn’t have to travel far to enjoy their own pumpkin-picking adventure, thanks to the kindness of neighbor K.C. Marketplace!
Preschool classes took turns visiting the courtyard pumpkin patch, carefully selecting their perfect petite pumpkins. Students explored the patch with their friends, sharing laughter and excitement, and proudly showed their teachers and friends the pumpkins they chose.
This year, K.C. Marketplace went above and beyond by creating a special pumpkin patch just for Whiting Elementary. This thoughtful gesture reflects the generosity and community spirit of neighbors supporting neighbors.
A huge thank you to the Klein family of K.C. Marketplace for their donation and beautifully arranged pumpkin patch. Our preschoolers can’t wait to paint their pumpkins and decorate their classrooms, spreading fall cheer for all to enjoy!
