Each month, the Board of Education recognizes students from every school at its meeting. This month, the Board of Education celebrated the following students and their achievements with the community:
Manchester Township Elementary School
Nathan Medvigy and Liam Jacobs
We are proud to recognize two outstanding fourth-grade students who consistently exemplify the very best of our school community. They are kind, hard-working, and serve as role models for their peers each and every day. Their positive attitudes and dedication make our classrooms brighter places to learn and grow. We celebrate their efforts and thank them for making our school a better place simply by being who they are.

Ridgeway Elementary School
Kira Hoxha
Kira is a dedicated and inspiring student who leads by example through her hard work and positive attitude. A valued member of the Gifted and Talented program, she consistently excels across all subjects and brings the same determination and focus to her training as a USAG gymnast.

Whiting Elementary School
Hudson DiPaolo
Hudson DiPaolo is a thoughtful and caring friend to his classmates. Recently, he chose to give away a prize he had earned so that a classmate could receive it on their birthday—an action that truly reflects his kindness and generosity. I am incredibly proud of his growth and the positive example he sets for others.

Regional Day School
Martin Benites
Martin is a true leader with a heart of gold. He is always eager to help his peers and adults. He will get a favorite toy for his friends, and he will console them if they are sad. His receptive understanding has improved significantly, and he is able to understand social scenarios. Martin loves STEM-based learning, especially building with magnets and Legos. We are so proud of him!
Manchester Township Middle School
Damien Mortellite
Damien Mortellite is a high-achieving 7th-grade student who consistently demonstrates academic excellence and leadership. He is an active member of the Eco Explorers Club and participates on the school wrestling team. Beyond that, Damien is also an accomplished football player for the Manchester Hawks 11U team, earning both a spot on the All-Star squad as well as an MVP award this year. Both his teammates and classmates admire him for his strong work ethic, confidence, and positive attitude.
Audrey Stapp & Cole Grieco
December Athletes of the Month
We are extremely proud to have Cole Grieco and Audrey Stapp represent MTMS as our Student Athletes for the month of December. Cole and Audrey are both great representations of what it means to be a student-athlete. They are 8th-grade leaders on our Cross Country, Soccer, and Basketball teams, work just as hard in the classroom as they do in the athletic arena, and serve as excellent examples to our younger student athletes.

Manchester Township High School
Marisiya Goins & Meghan Wagner
Marisiya and Meghan are participating in the NJMEA All-State Treble Chorus, a prestigious statewide ensemble of New Jersey’s top high school vocalists. Selection is highly competitive, and only the most accomplished and dedicated students earn this honor. We are proud to have the state’s best soaring among us here in Manchester Township, and we offer our sincere congratulations.
Jacob Quinones & Iyanna McCombs
December Athletes of the Month
Jacob Quinones has had an exceptional season for the bowling team, leading the B South division with a 211 average, a high game of 279, and a high series of 675. His consistency and focus have made him a standout performer.
Iyanna McCombs, a four-year Varsity girls wrestler, was selected as a team captain this year. Her work ethic, dedication, and discipline have set the tone for the program, and her leadership has been instrumental in shaping the team’s success.
