Mrs. Baranyay's third-grade classroom at Whiting School recently lit up with excitement during their GLOW Day math review event! Students had an amazing time practicing important math skills as they prepared for the upcoming state testing. The room was transformed into a glowing learning space filled with 11 interactive centers that made reviewing fun and engaging.
Students rotated through activities including Multiplication Tic Tac Toe, Multiplication Jenga, Glow-in-the-Dark 3-Digit Subtraction with Regrouping, Comparing Fractions, Multiplication Connect 4, Area and Perimeter challenges, Elapsed Time activities, and more.
They were also excited to welcome three parent volunteers who joined in the fun and helped students at some of the more challenging centers. Their support helped make the event even more successful.
This memorable learning experience was made possible through materials received from an MTEF grant. Thank you for supporting creative and engaging opportunities for our students!
