Today, Whiting’s preschool students celebrated the end of their Pet Investigation unit with a special live Animal Show that brought learning to life in a memorable way.
The presentation was led by Major League Exotic Pets, who visited the school with a variety of fascinating animals for the students to meet and learn about. The children were excited to see animals up close, including a red-footed tortoise, a hairless guinea pig known as a “skinny pig,” a long-eared bunny, a Red Tegu lizard, and several other unique creatures.
During the interactive show, students learned important facts about each animal. They also discovered that some of the animals are considered endangered, helping students better understand the importance of caring for and protecting wildlife around the world.
The Animal Show was a fun and engaging way to conclude the preschoolers’ Pet Investigation while encouraging curiosity and a love of learning about animals.
