Today, Whiting School hosted a special and intimate Pass the Torch ceremony for students in the kindergarten autism class. Seniors from Manchester Township High School visited WES to personally pass the torch to these young learners, creating a meaningful connection between the graduating class and some of the district's youngest students.
The ceremony celebrated inclusion and the bright futures ahead for all students. The seniors shared this memorable tradition in a way that was tailored specifically for this kindergarten class, making the experience both personal and impactful for everyone involved.
