The Manchester Township School District (MTSD) kicked off a great week of opportunities for students, families, and staff to connect and get ready for the new school year.
At Manchester Township Middle School today, students took part in orientation sessions designed to help them become familiar with their school, routines, and what to expect in the year ahead.
At Whiting Elementary School, the week began with opportunities to connect with new principal leadership. Staff gathered for a Meet the Principal event, followed by an afternoon of “Popsicles with the Principal” for students on the playground.
The family event gave WES students a chance to spend some time with their new principal, Ms. Thompson, in a relaxed setting, enjoy a popsicle, and begin building connections before the first day of school.
It was a fun way to kick off the week and start the new school year with smiles, conversation, and plenty of excitement for what is ahead.
Coming Up This Week
School orientations continue throughout the week at schools across the district. Families are encouraged to review the schedule below and make plans to attend their child’s orientation.
A reminder for Manchester Township High School families that the MTHS Meet the Principal events are also coming up. These events provide students and families with an opportunity to meet Principal Brown, learn more about the upcoming school year, and ask questions before classes begin.
