The Manchester community showed its support for local students this weekend during the Applebee’s Flapjack Fundraiser, helping kick off the 1st Annual Stuff the Bus School Supply Drive in a big way.
Members of the Manchester Township High School (MTHS) Soccer Team volunteered their time Saturday morning, serving flapjacks and welcoming community members who came out to enjoy breakfast while supporting Manchester Township School District students. With 100% of the proceeds from the fundraiser benefiting local students, the morning was a wonderful example of what can happen when a community comes together for a common purpose.
Thank you to everyone who purchased tickets, donated supplies, volunteered their time, and helped spread the word. Your support is already making a difference for Manchester students.
And now, the bus has officially landed at Applebee’s Manchester!
The community is invited to help us fill it with new school supplies during Family Fun Day on Saturday, August 29, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Applebee’s Manchester, located at 1055 Route 70.
Bring the family for an afternoon of games, prizes and fun while helping us Stuff the Bus with school supplies for Manchester Township School District students. Backpacks, lunchboxes, notebooks, pencils, and other new school supplies are all welcome.
Whether you donate a single item or a full backpack, every contribution stays local and directly supports Manchester students.
