Whiting Elementary had a very special Mystery Reader visit today!
Mayor Hankins stopped by to share a story with our Wildcats and spend some time getting to know our students. Along with enjoying a great book, students had the opportunity to learn about Mayor Hankins’ role as mayor, the responsibilities of local government, and how community leaders work to serve and support their town. Our Wildcats loved asking questions and learning more about leadership right here in their own community.
Thank you, Mayor Hankins, for spending time with us and making reading extra special today!
