Members of the Manchester Township High School football team, under the direction of Head Coach Tommy Farrell, are spending time this summer volunteering at senior communities around town.
Last week, these students took time out of their summer break to visit with residents at The Haven Assisted Living Community in Manchester. They hosted a meet and greet, talked about Manchester football, and shared their stories, equipment, and more while visiting with the residents. They even played BINGO!
The team and Coach received such a warm welcome from The Haven residents in the form of applause and cheers. New friendships between generations were made today and they can not wait to visit again next month to this and other communities ahead of their opening season game.
