The Manchester Township Middle School Engineering Team recently attended the Second Annual NJ KidWind Challenge. MTMS sent three teams of students to the competition, held at the Galloway Township PAL STEM Building, where they showcased their design, construction, and testing of student-built wind turbines. Congratulations to the MTMS team who took home Third Place!
The KidWind Challenge is a hands-on design competition that engages students through the lens of wind and solar energy. Student teams design, construct, and test small-scale wind turbines and solar structures at events all over the world.
