Week of Respect at MTMS

The Manchester Township School District is proudly observing the Week of Respect, a statewide initiative dedicated to promoting kindness, empathy, and positive school communities. Each of our schools is participating in daily activities designed to remind students of the importance of treating others with dignity and respect.

At Manchester Township Middle School (MTMS), the Guidance Department has been collecting seashell donations since the start of the school year in preparation for a special community-building activity. During lunch this week, students have the opportunity to decorate a seashell with an encouraging message or positive design to celebrate the Week of Respect.

The cafeteria was filled with color, laughter, and collaboration as 6th and 7th-graders joined in the fun. Tomorrow, 8th-grade students will have their turn to contribute their creativity and positivity.

All of the decorated shells will soon be displayed in a new, special area of the middle school, to be revealed later this week. Stay tuned for the unveiling and a celebration of the spirit of respect at MTMS!
