CATALDO FARM VISITOR

This week, Mrs. Cataldo’s students had a special visitor, Resident Classroom Grandma, Ms. Rousseau! Ms. Rousseau came to help the class plant carrots, cauliflower, and cabbage! The activity tied perfectly into their Trees Investigation Unit as part of the Creative Curriculum and reinforced the letter “C” in their studies.

Ms. Rousseau introduced the students to the tools gardeners use, shared a fun new classroom toy, and guided each student as they planted their own seeds. The experience gave students a hands-on way to connect learning with the natural world.

The class is excited to care for their garden over the winter and watch as their vegetables take root. Everyone can’t wait to see which vegetable will sprout first!
