As part of Ocean County’s 175th anniversary celebration, high school students from across the region were invited to share their vision for the County’s future, reflecting on how to preserve what matters most while continuing to grow and adapt. The submitted essays showcased thoughtful perspectives, meaningful insights, and a deep sense of pride in our community.
During the celebration, Ocean County Commissioner Robert Arace presented the contest winners with certificates on behalf of the Ocean County Board of Commissioners, along with their well-earned prizes.
Manchester Township School District is proud to recognize Valentino Vaccarella, a Manchester Township High School student, for earning Second Place in this countywide competition. Valentino’s work reflects both the strength of his writing and his commitment to the community he calls home.
We extend our congratulations to all student participants and applaud their ideas and leadership, which continue to highlight a bright future for Ocean County.
