Students from the MTHS National Honor Society have launched a new initiative called Senior to Senior, aimed at building meaningful connections with senior citizens in the community.
As part of this effort, students are organizing a series of spring events designed to bring generations together in fun and engaging ways.
Their event, Senior to Senior Movie Night, will pair high school students and senior citizens to spend an evening enjoying a feel-good film (Grease!), conversation, and shared experiences. Attendees will be paired with students who are eager to connect and spend time together in a warm and welcoming environment.
Whether participants come for the movie or simply for a joyful night out, this event is about more than entertainment to our students. It is an opportunity to form new friendships, share stories, and strengthen community bonds.
