The Manchester Township High School (MTHS) Music Department wrapped up an exciting and memorable week filled with performances, travel, collaboration, and recognition for our student musicians.
The week began with the annual Trills & Thrills Music Competition hosted at the high school. Students from several schools took part in adjudicated vocal and instrumental performances, creating a positive atmosphere centered around music, learning, and performance experience.
Our choir also traveled to Hershey, Pennsylvania, to participate in the Music in the Parks Festival, where students had the opportunity to perform and represent MTHS before enjoying a day together at Hersheypark in celebration of their hard work throughout the year.
Back on campus, the Spring Band Concert featured performances from both the High School Band and Middle School Band, showcasing the continued growth of our instrumental music program. The Spring Choir Concert did the same for our vocal ensembles, bringing middle and high school students together for an evening of music and collaboration.
The busy week concluded with the annual Music Department Awards Night, where students were recognized for their dedication, leadership, musicianship, and contributions to the program throughout the school year.
It was an outstanding week for the MTHS Music Department and a reflection of the talent, commitment, and school pride our student musicians bring to every performance and event.
