Manchester Township School District is proud to announce that Manchester Township Middle School's Emma P. has been selected to attend the highly selective Tech Trek New Jersey Summer Academy, a competitive STEM-focused program designed to encourage and inspire young women in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
Emma was chosen as one of only three students to represent Ocean County at the academy. The competitive selection process requires students to submit an essay application and, if selected, participate in an interview. Her selection reflects her academic achievement, leadership potential, and dedication to learning.
Last week, Emma completed her introduction presentation and represented Manchester exceptionally well. The MTSD is proud of her confidence, preparation, and professionalism throughout the process.
The academy, sponsored by the American Association of University Women, provides students with hands-on STEM experiences, opportunities to connect with women working in STEM careers, and a unique college-campus learning environment.
Emma’s achievement continues a strong tradition for Manchester Township. She is the sixth Manchester student selected for the highly competitive program over the last 10 years, highlighting the district’s continued commitment to academic excellence and STEM education opportunities.
