MTMS CHORUS

The Manchester Township Middle School (MTMS) Chorus is getting ready for the experience of a lifetime.

After entering 105.7 The Hawk's "Sing With Foreigner" contest, the chorus was selected to perform live on stage with the legendary rock band Foreigner at the PNC Bank Arts Center on July 26. The students will join the band during its performance of the iconic hit I Want to Know What Love Is, a song known for its powerful choir accompaniment.

The exciting opportunity is the result of months of hard work, dedication, and preparation by the students and their director, Katie Sherman.

"I am so excited for this incredible opportunity for my students," said MTMS choir director Katie Sherman. "They have worked so hard and truly have a passion for singing and performing. We cannot wait to rock out with Foreigner!"

As an added bonus, Foreigner will be donating $500 to the Manchester Township Middle School Chorus program, helping support future opportunities for student musicians.

The Manchester Township Middle School Chorus has become known for its enthusiasm, talent, and commitment to music. This opportunity gives students the chance to perform before thousands of concertgoers on one of New Jersey's biggest stages while sharing the spotlight with one of rock music's most recognizable bands.

Congratulations to Mrs. Sherman and all of the members of the MTMS Chorus. We can't wait to see them take the stage and represent Manchester Township this summer.
