Joseph Murray Receives The NJ Council for the Social Studies Award

Each month, the Board of Education recognizes students from every school at its meeting. This month, the Board of Education celebrated the following students and their achievements with the community:

Manchester Township Elementary School
Bryce Brister

Meet fifth grader, Bryce Brister.  Over the years, he has grown so much. His perseverance and hard work have been noticed by all. His kindness, sense of humor, and academic achievements truly exemplify what is to be an MTES Dragon as well as leading with excellence by example. We know he will do great things as he moves on to middle school.

He has made significant strides in building his confidence, strengthening his relationships with both staff and peers, and fully engaging in his overall school experience. His positive attitude and willingness to grow have truly stood out, and it has been wonderful to see him become such an active and valued member of our school community. We are incredibly proud of how far he has come.

MTMS Athletes of the Month
Mason Grieco & Myla McPartlin

We are extremely proud to have Mason Grieco and Myla McPartlin represent MTMS as our student athletes for the month of June. Mason and Myla are both great representations of what it means to be a student athlete. They are 8th grade leaders on our Baseball and Track & Field teams (respectively), work just as hard in the classroom as they do in the athletic arena, and serve as excellent examples to our younger student athletes.

At just 16, Tyler has earned Eagle Scout, the youngest in Troop 441. His project beautified St. John’s Church pantry entrance and created a memorial for his late father, a United States Marine. His dedication, leadership, and service exemplify remarkable character and proudly represents Hawk spirit in our community.
