Community is such an important part of any school, and Manchester Township Elementary School (MTES) takes pride in the relationships they have made throughout the community.
Ms. Claire Renga, one of the student mentors at MTES, came to Principal Ellen Healy over the summer to let her know the Leisure Village West (LVW) Pickleball Club would love to do something for the students. They came together and collected a plethora of school supplies that MTES was able to distribute at the school orientations.
But the generosity did not end there! Members of the LVW Pickleball Club took it upon themselves to organize a coat drive. They came to MTES this week with over 20 bags of new coats and winter gear. Their generosity will benefit not only MTES students, but the other elementary schools in Manchester Township School District as well.
We would like to thank the LVW Pickleball Club for their incredible generosity and support of our students. It takes a village, and sometimes, that village is lucky enough to have a group like the LVW Pickleball Club!
