The Manchester Township Middle School (MTMS) Chorus recently submitted an audition video to be the next "Star Choir," with a chance to sing at the Rockefeller Center in New York City during this year’s Christmas Tree Lighting!
This performance showcases their ability to blend music and motion to mesmerize an audience, and unsurprisingly, their hard work paid off! Out of over 100 choirs in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Eastern Pennsylvania who all submitted videos, our Mustangs made it into the top 10 finalists. This stunning success reflects the dedication and talent that got them onstage with Foreigner this past Summer, but the MTMS Chorus is not done yet!
MTMS choir director, Katie Sherman, shared how proud she was of the team and their accomplishment. Her own perseverance and commitment to the program are essential to developing these opportunities, and the district cannot wait to see what is in store. The best of luck to Mrs. Sherman and the MTMS Chorus!
